$72,000–$98,000/year full-time or $50–$70/hour part-time, based on experience

The Role This is a generalist pediatric OT role with a strong emphasis on emotional and sensory regulation. You'll work with infants through school-age kids and their families, delivering play-based intervention that supports sensory processing, self-regulation, motor development, and independence at home, at school, and in the community. Early intervention (birth–3) opportunities are available.
What You'll Do
- Evaluate sensory processing, regulation, fine and gross motor, visual-motor skills, postural control, and ADLs
- Build play-based treatment plans that follow the child's lead
- Treat in our sensory gym, outdoors, and in EI as needed
- Coach parents as active team members, with practical home programs
- Collaborate with our speech and feeding therapists, pediatricians, EI providers, and schools
- Keep documentation timely, your caseload consistent, and family communication proactive
What We're Looking For
- MS or OTD in Occupational Therapy; active Illinois OT license
- 2+ years of pediatric experience preferred. New grads are welcome, and we'll mentor you.
- Working knowledge of sensory processing and self-regulation frameworks
- A warm, clear communicator who builds trust with kids, parents, and professionals
Bonus Points
- Advanced training in feeding (Get Permission, Beckman), infant motor/oral adhesions, reflex integration (MNRI, RMT), DIR/Floortime, or DMI
- Illinois EI credential (or willingness to obtain one)
- Sensory integration or trauma-informed training
- Knowledge of Tri-Cities/Fox Valley schools and resources
