    About the Role

    The client is seeking a Pediatric Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support pediatric patients through engaging, individualized occupational therapy services.

    This role will work closely with supervising Occupational Therapists to implement treatment plans, lead therapy activities, support motor and sensory skill development, monitor patient progress, and collaborate with the therapy team to support positive patient outcomes.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Implement treatment plans developed by Occupational Therapists
    • Lead engaging pediatric therapy activities
    • Support development of motor, sensory, and functional skills
    • Monitor and report patient progress to supervising therapists
    • Maintain accurate clinical documentation
    • Collaborate with the therapy team to support patient development

    Requirements

    Required Qualifications

    • Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
    • Active COTA certification and license or eligibility
    • Strong communication and organizational skills
    • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary therapy environment

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Pediatric therapy experience preferred
    • Experience supporting children with developmental and sensory needs
    • Passion for working with children and families
