Job Description
The World's Most Dedicated Never Give Up
There's a reason St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is consistently ranked on Fortune Magazine's "100 Best Places to Work For" list. Because at our world-class pediatric research hospital, every one of our professionals shares our commitment to make a difference in the lives of the children we serve. There's a unique bond when you're part of a team that gives its all to advance the treatments and cures of pediatric catastrophic diseases. The result is a collaborative, positive environment where everyone, regardless of their role, receives the resources, support, and encouragement to advance and grow their careers and be the force behind the cures.
About the Center for Experimental Neurotherapeutics (CENT)
CENT is designed to facilitate the rapid clinical development of promising treatments for catastrophic pediatric neurological diseases, with a focus on genetically defined diseases. Clinical trials focus on novel treatments that target the fundamental genetic underpinnings of the disease process.
As an RN in our CENT Clinic, you'll join a collaborative team of physicians, therapists, and clinical research associates working on the frontlines of pediatric neurological care and clinical trial support. You will provide direct nursing care to patients enrolled in various clinical studies, playing a vital role in advancing treatments for catastrophic pediatric neurological diseases. In this dynamic role, you'll interface with a broad patient population - neonates through young adults - and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team throughout St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Support and assist clinical research staff in the implementation of research activities. Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team including neurologists, clinical researchers, pharmacists, therapists, and support staff. Accurately document patient care activities in compliance with regulatory requirements.
