Children's Hospital of Illinois is a Level I Pediatric Trauma Center and has a Level III NICU, ECMO services, and a comprehensive congenital heart program.

Support the academic mission through active participation in teaching, mentorship, and scholarly activity in partnership with the University of Illinois College of Medicine Peoria.
Guide development, recruitment, and retention to build a sustainable and high‑performing division.
Collaborate with other faculty in maintaining excellence in general pediatric education within pediatrics, emergency medicine and surgery.
Maintain a clinical service program to meet regional needs.
