Pediatric Physical Therapist Position
Position Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Pediatric Physical Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about working with children and committed to helping pediatric patients improve mobility, strength, coordination, and overall functional independence. This role requires strong clinical skills, patience, and the ability to collaborate effectively with families and multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and review student records
Evaluate student progress and prepare reports that display their progress
Assess students' physical abilities
Plan, organize, and conduct PT sessions with students
Restore, maintain, and promote quality of life as it relates to movement and health
Meet with parents and teachers to communicate information pertaining to the students' IEP
Prevent symptoms and the progression of symptoms of physical dysfunction and disability
Meet students' goals and needs
Recommend changes in the environment that could assist students with their needs and capabilities
Make recommendations and referrals as needed
Research resources and treatment methods for students
Maintain professional training by attending workshops
Perform all other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Current state Physical Therapy license (or ability to obtain)
Experience working with pediatric populations preferred
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Ability to create a supportive, child-friendly therapy environment
