About the Role: Performance Pediatrics is looking for a passionate and dedicated Pediatric Physical Therapist to join our growing team in Lafayette, NJ! This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families by delivering high-quality, specialized physical therapy care in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
Evaluate and treat pediatric patients across a range of developmental, neurological, and musculoskeletal conditions
Develop individualized treatment plans based on thorough assessments and evidence-based practices
Implement therapeutic interventions to improve gross motor skills, strength, balance, and functional mobility
Collaborate with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary team members to support each child's progress
Document patient evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries in a timely and accurate manner
Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and ongoing professional development opportunities
Educate and train parents and caregivers on home exercise programs and therapeutic strategies
Requirements:
Valid Physical Therapist (PT) license in the state of New Jersey
NJ School Certification
Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree from an accredited program
Experience in pediatric physical therapy preferred
Knowledge of developmental milestones, sensory processing, and pediatric rehabilitation techniques
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with children, families, and care teams
CPR/First Aid certification required or ability to obtain upon hire
Compassionate, patient, and enthusiastic approach to working with children of all ages and abilities
