Pediatric Physical Therapist (PT) | Full-Time | Pediatric Outpatient & PPEC | Jacksonville, FL (Southpoint)

As a Pediatric Physical Therapist (PT), you’ll provide compassionate, evidence-based care across our pediatric outpatient and PPEC (Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care) programs, helping children improve mobility, independence, and participation in daily life while advancing your career in a collaborative, clinician-led environment.
Our clinicians primarily serve children with autism spectrum disorder, developmental delays, global developmental delay, neurological conditions, genetic disorders, and sensory-motor challenges. We focus on helping children build strength, coordination, balance, mobility, and independence through evidence-based, child-centered care that supports developmental milestones.
Your Role:
- Deliver personalized, evidence-based pediatric physical therapy to children with developmental and neurological diagnoses
- Develop treatment plans focused on gross motor skills, balance, coordination, mobility, and functional independence
- Use play-based and child-led interventions to support engagement and progress
Document care accurately in Raintree EMR
- Partner closely with families and caregivers to promote carryover at home
- Collaborate with occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and interdisciplinary team members
- Contribute to a culture of clinical learning and peer support
- Provide skilled therapy services within both pediatric outpatient and PPEC settings
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams supporting medically complex and developmentally delayed children
- Deliver family-centered care focused on functional mobility, positioning, transfers, gait, balance, and developmental progression
Requirements
- Degree from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program
- Active state Physical Therapy license or eligibility for licensure
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and clinical reasoning skills
- Passion for working with children and delivering family-centered care
- Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered therapy
