Position Summary:
Deliver comprehensive, continuous primary care to a panel of pediatric patients. Participate in Urgent Care coverage as needed. Provide clinical supervision to nurse practitioners and physician assistants. Contribute to the development and implementation of community health initiatives. Represent the health center in community groups, partnerships, and task forces as assigned. Serve as a clinical leader, actively engaging in productivity, quality improvement, performance initiatives, utilization review, and staff training.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience: • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required • Completion of a residency in Family Practice or another primary care specialty • Minimum of two years of post-residency experience preferred • Obstetrics experience/practice preferred
Licensure & Certifications: • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Family Practice or another primary care specialty • Current Massachusetts medical license (or eligibility to obtain) • Eligible for unrestricted health center and hospital privileges at affiliated facilities • Current DEA and Massachusetts Controlled Substance Registration
