Performs radiographic procedures at a technical level requiring sound understanding of anatomical positioning and physiology, a high degree of technical competency, and the ability to act with initiative and ingenuity with minimum supervision. Required License Certification and Registration
Education: Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology.
Experience: 0 to 2 years of modality specific work experience.
Required Registration
Certification: Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
Licensure: From the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association is required.
Current Basic Life Support BLS: Required either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers or an AHA-recognized equivalent or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.
