The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, ranked the No. 1 hospital in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and the No. 2 hospital in Texas by U.S. News and World Report, is seeking an energetic and collegial Radiologist.

Division faculty provide services at Childrens Medical Center Dallas and Plano, Parkland Memorial Hospital, Clements University Hospital, and their affiliated outpatient clinics. Faculty work with residents, fellows, and medical students in one of the largest radiology training programs in the U.S.

Division, Facilities & Equipment

UT Southwestern Medical Centers Pediatric Radiology Division, in close partnership with Childrens Health in Dallas and Plano, invites exceptional pediatric radiologists to join a high-impact, academically vibrant, and technologically cutting-edge practice dedicated to advancing pediatric imaging, education, and research.

We are seeking candidates with strong clinical interest or expertise in one or more of the following pediatric subspecialty domains:

  • Pediatric Neuroradiology
  • Pediatric Interventional Radiology
  • Pediatric Body Imaging
  • Pediatric Nuclear Medicine
  • Pediatric Cardiac Imaging
  • Pediatric Musculoskeletal Imaging
  • Fetal Imaging

Our pediatric imaging protocols are designed specifically for infants, children, and adolescents, ensuring exceptional quality with radiation-sparing technologies. Services available across Dallas and Plano include:

  • Advanced MRI including multiple 3T and 1.5T scanners and functional MRI
  • CT, including photon-counting and dual-energy
  • Ultrasound including contrast-enhanced ultrasound and elastography
  • Digital fluoroscopy, multiple newly installed
  • Interventional Radiology (IR) suites include newly installed hybrid angio-CT, robotic C-arm, and bi-plane technology
  • Nuclear Medicine & PET/CT
  • Advanced Imaging Post-Processing Lab
  • Child Life Specialists dedicated to Radiology

A Transformative Future: New Pediatric Campus Development Opening in 2031

UT Southwestern and Childrens Health are partnering in the development of a new, state-of-the-art pediatric campus in Dallas, representing a major investment in the future of pediatric healthcare delivery, research, and education. Now under construction, this new $5 billion pediatric health campus will span over 33 acres and offer a new 2 million square foot pediatric hospital. Faculty joining the division today will have the opportunity to help shape imaging services, workflows, and program development in this transformative new setting.

Pediatric Radiology Fellowship broad pediatric imaging and basic procedures

Pediatric Interventional Radiology Fellowship procedural expertise & multidisciplinary care

Pediatric Neuroradiology Fellowship advanced neuroimaging and multidisciplinary case involvement

Faculty also contribute to training diagnostic radiology residents, medical students, and fellows who rotate with us from numerous programs within and beyond UTSW.

The candidate must also meet the following requirements:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) or foreign equivalent
  • Fellowship trained
  • Board certification/eligibility in Diagnostic Radiology with an unrestricted license to practice medicine in Texas
