Join Child Health Associates in Auburn as a Full-Time Referral Coordinator, where you will play a key role in supporting patient care by managing and coordinating referrals for our pediatric patients.
This position is primarily focused on referral coordination, with cross-training to assist at the front desk as needed.

What You'll Do
As a Referral Coordinator, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating patient referrals to specialists, including obtaining authorizations and ensuring all required documentation is complete
- Communicating with families regarding referral status, instructions, and follow-up appointments
- Verifying insurance requirements related to referrals and specialist visits
- Collaborating with providers and clinical staff to ensure timely and accurate referral processing
- Tracking and following up on outstanding referrals to ensure continuity of care
In addition, you will be cross-trained to support front desk operations, including:
- Greeting patients and families in a professional and welcoming manner
- Scheduling appointments and managing patient flow
- Answering phones and assisting with general inquiries
- Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring confidentiality
What We're Looking For

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills (both phone and in-person)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently
- A compassionate, patient-focused approach
- Comfort working with insurance processes and administrative workflows (experience preferred but not required)
- Flexibility and willingness to assist front desk operations when needed
Previous medical office or referral experience is a plus but not required.
