Position Summary The Clinical Nutrition Team at Boston Children’s Hospital is dedicated to providing infants, children, adolescents, and young adults with comprehensive nutrition assessments—an essential component of individualized care plans for a wide range of conditions. This role offers the opportunity to work across several multidisciplinary clinic settings, supporting diverse patient populations. The position is primarily based in an open clinic setting, where you will see patients from multiple disciplines who are not followed within one of our specialty clinics, allowing for a broad and diverse clinical experience. This position is located at our North Dartmouth satellite location and includes hybrid work opportunities. This is a 32-hour-per-week role; however, the team is open to candidates seeking a reduced schedule of 24 to 32 hours per week.
Position working 30 hours or more is eligible for a $10,000 Sign-On Bonus!
Level II – Pediatric Registered Dietitian II (Clinical Nutrition Specialist II) Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Nutrition & Dietetics
3+ years of progressive experience in Dietetics with at least 2 years in pediatric nutrition
Registration by Commission on Dietetic Registration, the Credentialing agency of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, as a Registered Dietitian
Licensure by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a licensed Dietitian.
Providing nutritional care to patients in the outpatient setting.
Evaluating the medical, biochemical, and nutritional information and assessing patient needs in order to develop and implement the most appropriate nutrition care plans.
Serving as a proficient resource, mentor and educator for health care providers, students, community dietitians and the general public.
Supporting Clinical Nutrition initiatives to improve professional practice including community-based initiatives.
Level I – Pediatric Registered Dietitian I (Clinical Nutrition Specialist I) Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Nutrition & Dietetics
Completion of an ACEND (Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics) accredited Internship Program.
Registration by Commission on Dietetic Registration, the Credentialing agency of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, as a Registered Dietitian
Licensure by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a licensed Dietitian.
Providing nutritional care to patients in the outpatient setting.

Serving as a competent resource, mentor and educator for health care providers, students, community dietitians and the general public.
