Provide skilled nursing care to pediatric patients in their homes.
Perform comprehensive assessments and monitor vital signs and changes in the child's condition.
Develop and implement individualized pediatric care plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare providers.
Provide medication administration, treatments, and other skilled nursing interventions as ordered.
Provide care for pediatric patients with complex medical needs, including G-tubes, feeding pumps, tracheostomies, ventilators, and other medical equipment, when applicable.
Monitor and provide appropriate care for pediatric patients with feeding tubes and other specialized medical needs.
Educate and support parents, guardians, and caregivers regarding the child's care plan and medical needs.
Communicate changes in the patient's condition promptly to the physician, family, and BrightStar Care clinical team.
Accurately document all assessments, interventions, medications, and patient responses.
Follow all applicable state and federal regulations, physician orders, and BrightStar Care policies and procedures.
Provide compassionate, family-centered and age-appropriate care.
Respond appropriately to changes in the patient's condition and emergency situations.
