Pediatric Rheumatology Physician

We are seeking a full-time Pediatric Rheumatologist to establish and lead the Division of Pediatric Rheumatology at The Children's Hospital at Saint Peter's University Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ. This is a unique and exciting opportunity to build a program from the ground up within a well-resourced, state-designated acute care children's hospital serving one of New Jersey's most diverse communities.

The Division of Pediatric Rheumatology will provide diagnosis, treatment, and long-term management of autoimmune, inflammatory, and musculoskeletal disorders in children from infancy through young adulthood. As the sole Pediatric Rheumatologist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the program, building referral relationships across the system, and expanding access to this critically underserved specialty in Central New Jersey.

Opportunity Highlights

• Program Leadership: Founding opportunity to establish and grow the Division of Pediatric • Rheumatology - define clinical protocols, build the team, and shape the program's future
• Scope of Practice: Full spectrum of pediatric autoimmune and inflammatory conditions, including Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (JIA), Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE), juvenile dermatomyositis, vasculitis, Kawasaki disease, periodic fever syndromes, and autoinflammatory diseases
• Collaborative Care: Multidisciplinary partnership with pediatric nephrology, ophthalmology (uveitis monitoring), dermatology, orthopedics, physical therapy, and occupational therapy
