Preferred qualifications and background:
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Valid SLP license for California or eligibility to obtain one
Hold Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidate status
Experience or coursework in pediatric and/or school-based settings strongly desired
Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Ability to implement evidence-based therapy in both individual and group formats
Knowledge of IEP processes, documentation, and progress monitoring
Key responsibilities:
Provide direct speech-language services to students as specified in their IEPs
Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments for students referred for speech and language concerns
Develop individualized treatment plans and measurable goals based on student needs
Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise and collaborating with team members
Maintain detailed records and documentation in accordance with school and legal requirements
Offer consultative support and training to teachers and parents to further student progress
Engage in ongoing professional growth and uphold ethical, current practices in speech-language pathology
