This position offers the unique opportunity to utilize your Speech-Language Pathology expertise while collaborating with an onsite SLP and supporting the developmental needs of young learners. With a part-time schedule of two days per week, you'll have the flexibility you need while delivering vital services to a diverse early childhood caseload.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Valid SLP license in Illinois, or eligibility to obtain
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered
Experience in pediatric, school-based, or teletherapy SLP services preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with staff, students, and families
Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat a variety of speech, language, and communication disorders
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech and language therapy to early childhood students on a 2-days-per-week basis
Conduct screenings and assessments to determine individual student needs
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and collaborate with classroom teachers and families
Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports according to school and state standards
Consult and collaborate with an experienced onsite SLP for guidance and support
