Location: Placerville, California
Schedule: Full-Time | 4- or 5-Day Work Week

HealthPlus Staffing is assisting an established healthcare organization in the Sierra Foothills of California with the recruitment of a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Pediatrician.

This is a primarily outpatient position offering a flexible schedule, competitive compensation, a light call rotation, and an established pediatric team.

Practice Details

Join an established pediatric team consisting of 4 Pediatricians, 1 Nurse Practitioner, and experienced support staff.

The position is primarily outpatient with limited newborn responsibilities.

• 1:5 call rotation
• Light call volume
• Approximately 35–45 deliveries per month across the service
• Newborn nursery rounding
• Attendance at high-risk deliveries when required
• Infrequent Emergency Department consults
• No pediatric inpatient admissions
• Level I nursery
• Additional compensation for deliveries attended

You'll work collaboratively with Pediatricians, OB/GYN physicians, Certified Nurse Midwives, experienced nursery staff, and regional children's hospitals.

Live and practice in California's scenic Sierra Foothills, with access to lakes, rivers, national forestland, and outdoor recreation.

Placerville offers a more affordable alternative to many California markets while providing convenient access to Sacramento, Lake Tahoe, Napa Valley, and the San Francisco Bay Area.

Qualifications

• MD or DO
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics
• Eligible for California medical licensure
• Comfortable with outpatient pediatrics and newborn care
