Description

Our client, a community-focused healthcare provider dedicated to delivering comprehensive primary care services, is hiring a Pediatrician. This esteemed healthcare organization is seeking a committed Pediatrician to join their compassionate team in Brooklyn, NY. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality pediatric care, promoting child health and wellness within the local community. Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive medical evaluations and examinations for infants, children, and adolescents.
  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic pediatric conditions, including minor injuries, infections, and developmental concerns.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring adherence to best practices and current medical standards.
  • Collaborate with nursing staff, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
  • Educate patients and their families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and treatment options.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential medical records in compliance with HIPAA and organizational policies.
  • Participate in community outreach programs and health education initiatives as needed.
  • Stay current with advancements in pediatrics through ongoing professional development.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Valid State of New York medical license and board certification in Pediatrics.
  • Minimum of 3 years of pediatric clinical experience.
  • Strong clinical skills with a focus on family-centered care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with diverse patient populations.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Additional certifications in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition, and Stabilization (PEARS) are preferred.
  • Commitment to providing equitable, culturally sensitive care.
  • Willingness to participate in community outreach and occasional after-hours coverage.
