Job Summary and Responsibilities

As ourPediatrician, you will be a central and cornerstone provider in our physician-facing organization, delivering comprehensive, continuous, and patient-centered medical care for infants, children, and adolescents across all developmental stages of life. This vital role is critical in promoting long-term health, wellness, and managing a broad spectrum of acute, chronic, and emergent pediatric conditions, profoundly impacting the health outcomes and quality of life for young patients and their families in our Kansas communities.

Every day you will conduct thorough patient evaluations, leveraging your expertise to accurately diagnose and expertly treat a wide array of childhood illnesses, developmental concerns, and complex pediatric issues. You will provide essential preventive care, administer immunizations, guide families through developmental milestones, and empower them with crucial patient education. Your responsibilities will also include adeptly managing chronic pediatric conditions, performing minor procedures, and strategically coordinating care with specialists, all while diligently building lasting relationships with children and their families. You will meticulously document all encounters, communicate effectively with patients and guardians, and ensure strict adherence to evidence-based guidelines, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.

To be successful in this role, you will possess broad clinical expertise in pediatrics, strong diagnostic acumen, and demonstrate a compassionate, child-centered approach to healthcare. You must be aBoard-Certified/Board-Eligible Pediatricianwith an active license in Kansas (or eligibility to obtain one), committed to fostering enduring patient and family relationships and dedicated to continuous professional development. Experience in comprehensive pediatric practice, encompassing well-child visits, acute care, and chronic disease management, and a genuine passion for serving as a primary healthcare advocate for the health of our diverse pediatric populations will position you for excellence in this impactful physician role.

  • Serve as a central Pediatrician, delivering comprehensive, continuous, and patient-centered medical care for infants, children, and adolescents across all developmental stages, significantly impacting health outcomes and quality of life in Kansas communities.
  • Provide essential preventive care, administer immunizations, guide families through milestones, empower them with education, manage chronic pediatric conditions, perform minor procedures, and coordinate with specialists.
  • Diligently build lasting relationships with children and families, meticulously document all encounters, communicate effectively, and ensure strict adherence to evidence-based guidelines, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.

Job Requirements

Required

  • Medical Degree from an accredited medical school is required.
  • Must have successfully completed a residency program.
  • Required Licensure and Certifications: Must be board certified and possess a current non-restricted license in Kansas. Must possess current, valid federal and state narcotics certificates. Current BLS and PALS certification required
  • Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Ability and willingness to demonstrate and maintain competency as required for job title and the unit/area(s) of assignment
  • Must be Board Certified or Board Elgible
