JOB SUMMARY

Conduct program coordination duties related to the oral health grant-funded initiative. Major emphasis on resource navigation, health promotion, community system collaboration and educational outreach. Other duties as assigned by direct supervisor.

JOB DUTIES

40% - Essential - Communication:

  • Establish an effective oral health communication plan.
  • Create internal communication plan for Clemson University and Pee Dee community partners.
  • Create public-facing communication plan to promote oral health and resource navigation in Pee Dee region.
  • Identify and participate in opportunities to increase program visibility, build community partnerships, and engage potential participants.

30% - Essential - Education:

  • Establish and deliver educational health-related resource navigation information to identified target audience (new community partners, clinicians, referral sources, others).

15% - Essential - Capacity Building:

  • Identify community partners, create professional network, and establish efficient workflow with Clemson University partners, Pee Dee region oral health partners and external funder.
  • This includes, but is not limited to, developing referral and outreach pathways.

15% - Essential - Evaluation and reporting:

  • Coordinate oral health evaluation including but not limited to reach, knowledge gain, and behavior change, community and health resource utilization.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education - Bachelors Degree - Relevant program experience.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

Education Area - Public Health, Education, Social Work Licenses & Certifications - CHES, CHW, CHC, CDA, PMP

RESPONSIBILITIES

No Budget Responsibilities - No fiscal responsibility for the departments budget.

COMPENSATION INFORMATION

Anticipated Salary Range: $45,300 - $48,000 Salary is dependent upon several factors including, but not limited to, a candidates previous experience, knowledge, skills and performance in accordance with Clemsons compensation guidelines.

ESSENTIAL PERSONNEL LEVEL

Normal Operations Required to follow emergency facility closure directives, and not normally expected work on-site during emergency situations.
