Description: The Peer Counselor / Client Advocate is a trusted presence who brings hope, truth, compassion, and practical resources to women navigating pregnancy and parenting decisions. This role requires a passion for life, an unwavering commitment to Christ-centered care, and the ability to meet clients with both grace and truth in moments of deep need. Qualifications/Background: - Be aligned with the vision and mission of Care Net Pregnancy Center and be in full agreement with Care Net’s Principles, Purpose, and Faith Statement and the Mission and Values Statement
- Attend church regularly and be part of a faith community aligned with our Center’s Statement of Faith
- 3–5 years of experience in women’s ministry, counseling, or a related field will be considered.
- Demonstrated ability to connect authentically with people from diverse backgrounds and to remain calm and compassionate in high-stress, emotional situations.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, dependable, responsible, and able to work independently and calmly in an often highly emotional environment
- Confident communicator and problem solver with excellent oral and written communication skills
Duties: - Be a team player that is ready, willing and available to see all clients for all services (except ultrasounds).
- Meet one on one with clients for assessments and counsel them on their pregnancy options, services available, and community support available through the support site.
- Assist with answering phones, scheduling appointments and client check in procedures.
- Run pregnancy tests and communicate results with clarity and compassion.
- Make reminder and follow-up calls to ensure clients remain supported and connected to care.
- Ensure client files and documentation are complete and accurate per Center protocols and procedures.
- Take initiative to keep a clean, organized facility and ensure client materials are prepared, stocked, and organized.
- Meet or exceed weekly billing requirements for the role and submit timely invoices for client counseling and referral minutes.
- Embody our culture of hospitality, grace, and excellence, ensuring every client encounter reflects the love of Christ and the value of life.
- Participate in ongoing training as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
