• Serve as a community ambassador for Aware Recovery Care by increasing awareness of recovery resources and support services throughout the assigned region.
• Develop and maintain relationships with community organizations, civic groups, service clubs, recovery community organizations, faith-based organizations, senior-serving organizations, senior living communities, law enforcement agencies, fire departments, EMS agencies, educational institutions, community coalitions, and other community stakeholders.
• Engage with local community groups and organizations to promote awareness of recovery resources, wellness initiatives, and support services available through Aware Recovery Care.
• Attend and participate in community events, health fairs, educational programs, networking opportunities, coalition meetings, civic organization meetings, and recovery-focused activities on behalf of Aware Recovery Care.
• Provide education and presentations to community members, families, community organizations, public safety agencies, senior-serving organizations, and professional groups regarding substance use disorders, recovery, wellness, and available community resources.
• Foster collaborative relationships with local leaders, community advocates, public safety professionals, civic organizations, faith communities, and organizations that support the health and well-being of individuals and families.
• Support community engagement initiatives aimed at reducing stigma, increasing awareness, and promoting long-term recovery.
• Assist individuals, families, and community members in connecting with appropriate treatment, recovery, and support resources when needed.
• Identify opportunities for partnerships, educational programming, and community initiatives that strengthen local recovery ecosystems.
• Coordinate and participate in community outreach activities, volunteer opportunities, awareness campaigns, and special events.
• Maintain accurate documentation of community engagement activities and partnership development efforts.
• Communicate professionally and ethically with community members, families, partners, and internal teams.
• Collaborate with clinical, admissions, peer support, and business development teams to ensure community needs and feedback are appropriately shared.
• Represent Aware Recovery Care in a professional, compassionate, and recovery-focused manner.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
The pay for this position is $17-$19/hr., plus incentive.
