The Centers is seeking a Peer Support Supervisor to lead our team of Peer Support Specialists in our Substance Use and Addiction Services Program (SAS). Many people who come to us may feel scared, lost, or unsure of what to do next. At the Centers, they will find caring staff who listen without judgment, help them feel safe, and support them as they take their next steps. This role is more than a job-its an opportunity to use your lived experience with mental health, drugs, or alcohol challenges to guide, mentor, and empower a dedicated SAS team.

About the Role:

As Peer Support Supervisor, youll oversee a team providing emotional and practical support to individuals with substance use disorder. Youll combine your personal recovery journey with leadership expertise to create an environment where both staff and clients can thrive.

What Youll Do:

  • Supervise and develop a team of Peer Support Specialists within SAS
  • Work in collaboration with SAS leadership to develop and implement SUD and PRS programming
  • Develop and Coordinate care plans for clients with substance use and behavioral health needs
  • Collaborate with mental health professionals, medical staff , and outreach workers.
  • Monitor program effectiveness and implement best practices
  • Advocate for clients to access affordable, appropriate care
  • Connect individuals with community resources and supportive services

What You Bring:

  • Associate or bachelor's degree (Bachelors preferred)
  • Certified Peer Support Specialist credential
  • Certified Peer Support Specialist Supervisor credential within 90 days
  • CDCA Certification or CDC Licensure within 90 days
  • BLS certification
  • Valid Ohio drivers license with appropriate insurance
  • Lived experience of substance use disorder with demonstrated recovery
  • Supervisory or mentorship experience

Schedule Availability

  • Full-time, Day shift; occasional evening and weekend
  • Flexible scheduling options are available and will be discussed during the interview process.
