Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct outreach services, spending 80% of the time in the field and 20% in the office.
• Provide immediate support and guidance to individuals entering recovery and mental health treatment.
• Engage in conversations with individuals about seeking treatment or other services.
• Build rapport with those who are unhoused and have substance use and/or mental health disorders.
• Offer direct and indirect peer support services and emotional support to clients and families.
• Assist with transportation of clients and referrals to treatment facilities.
• Provide on-the-spot assistance with Narcan and/or CPR when needed.

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license.
• Direct personal experience living with mental illness and/or addiction and recovery, with a willingness to self-disclose for the purpose of education and providing hope.
• Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel.

Preferences:

• Peer Certification or willingness to obtain within the first six months of hire.
