    The Role:

    Join our ACT Team as a Peer Specialist, supporting adults with severe mental illness on their journey to recovery. Utilizing both personal experience and formal training, you'll foster supportive relationships, aid in developing Wellness Action Plans, and connect individuals with community resources. Your role involves advocating for peers, facilitating open dialogue, and ensuring timely documentation. Evening and weekend availability may be required to assist clients in crisis.     What we’re looking for: 

    • High School Diploma or G.E.D

    • Lived experience of mental illness and recovery and/or has worked in a Peer Support Center

    • Intentional Peer Support Training and WRAP Training is preferred but not required

    • Excellent oral and written communication skills

    • Ability to utilize technology provided to perform requirements of the job

    • Hold a valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle liability coverage.
