We are seeking an experienced Structural Design Engineer to design and engineer pre-engineered metal building (PEMB) structures. The ideal candidate will have strong structural engineering experience and an active P.E. license.
This position can be worked remotely.
Responsibilities
Design and engineer PEMB structures from concept through completion
Perform structural calculations and analysis for steel building systems
Review project plans, specifications, and structural requirements
Prepare and review structural drawings and details
Coordinate with architects, fabricators, detailers, and project teams
Ensure designs comply with applicable building codes and industry standards
Review shop drawings and provide technical support throughout fabrication and erection
Assist with troubleshooting and resolving structural design issues
Maintain accurate engineering documentation and project records
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field
Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required
Experience designing PEMB structures or similar steel building systems
Strong understanding of structural steel design and applicable building codes
Ability to perform structural calculations and analysis
Proficiency with structural engineering/design software; specific software platform is open
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a project team
