Job Role: People Analytics Contractor
Location: Onsite Austin, TX (Hybrid- Tuesday , Wednesday , Thursday )
Duration: 12 Months
Role Summary:
This is a year-long contractor assignment supporting the People Analytics AI & Data Science team during an active build, automation, testing, and operational scaling period. The contractor will primarily support one core workstream while providing additional support across related initiatives as business needs evolve.
The role is designed for someone who can step in quickly, execute structured operational and testing work, and provide immediate value through workflow support, validation, documentation, reporting support, and product operations. The position will support initiatives leveraging Power BI, Power Automate, SQL, and AI-enabled analytics solutions.
Primary Workstreams:
Proactive People Insights & Automation Workflows:

Primary Workstreams:
Proactive People Insights & Automation Workflows:
- Support the build and iteration of automated workflows that transform trusted people analytics dashboards into proactive, executive-ready insights and alerts delivered through chat and email.
- Assist with Power Automate workflow testing, validation checks, and documentation
- Support Power BI output validation, formatting reviews, and reporting QA
- Help maintain repeatable processes, templates, and operational documentation to support scaled delivery
- Assist with lightweight troubleshooting and workflow refinement activities
- Support testing and operational monitoring of automated reporting and notification processes
Conversational Analytics (Talk-to-Data) Testing & Validation:
- Support structured user acceptance testing for a conversational analytics agent that allows users to ask workforce questions in plain language.
- Execute predefined test cases and document results clearly
- Validate outputs against source-of-truth reporting using Power BI and SQL-based data checks
- Track defects, retesting results, and validation outcomes to support quality assurance efforts
- Assist with documentation and test coordination during active release cycles
- Support structured testing activities tied to AI-enabled analytics experiences
Analytics Navigation Agent & Product Support:
- Support refresh work for an AI agent that helps users quickly find the right people analytics dashboards and understand available insights.
- Assist with dashboard/content updates and validation activities
- Support documentation updates and routing validation as enhancements are released
- Perform structured testing of links, metadata, and user experience flows
- Help maintain operational accuracy across evolving analytics assets
- Assist with reporting asset organization and product support activities
General Responsibilities:

- Maintain clear documentation of work completed, open questions, defects, and risks
- Communicate status updates and blockers regularly within a fast-moving build/test environment
- Support operational and testing activities across Power BI, Power Automate, SQL validation, and AI-enabled analytics products
- Follow structured testing, validation, and documentation processes with strong attention to detail
- Collaborate effectively with team members during iterative development and release cycles
- Assist with operational support tasks tied to reporting, workflow automation, and analytics product maintenance
Required Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed an undergraduate program in Information Systems, Analytics, Business, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field
- Familiarity with Power BI, Power Automate, SQL, or related analytics/reporting tools through coursework, internships, or project work
- Comfortable working with structured data and following defined testing and documentation processes
- Strong written communication skills and attention to detail
