Job Description:
The People & Culture Coordinator is responsible for supporting day-to-day HR operations, recordkeeping, training coordination, and HRIS administration to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across all routine People & Culture functions.This position serves as a key support role to the People & Culture team by maintaining employee records, supporting compliance efforts, and assisting with employee lifecycle processes while delivering a high level of service to internal stakeholders.The pay rate for this role is: $25-$32 per hour. Schedule is Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine tasks required to support the administration of human resource programs including benefits, leave, performance management, and training and development
Complete tasks within the requisition, pre-employment, onboarding, and offboarding processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing of employee data
Support HRIS data integrity by reviewing employee records for accuracy and coordinating updates related to benefits, status changes, and personnel actions
Maintain and update HRIS records, run standard reports, and support system audits to ensure data accuracy and compliance
Ensure compliance with internal policies and applicable federal and California employment laws through accurate documentation and recordkeeping practices
Maintain personnel, medical, and other confidential employee files in accordance with record retention requirements
Assist with coordination and tracking of required training and manage training workflows within HRIS systems
Respond to employment verification requests and other standard HR inquiries
Serve as a first point of contact for employee inquiries, providing timely and accurate information and escalating complex matters as appropriate
Collaborate with managers and leadership to support HR initiatives and ensure consistent application of policies and procedures
