A day in this role

Start your morning as the go-to partner for employees and managers. You’ll field questions, resolve concerns, and keep communication flowing. By late morning, you’re driving full-cycle recruiting for both permanent hires and temporary placements, partnering closely with supervisors to align talent with operational needs. Afternoons blend precision and pace—updating HR data in SAP and Org Management, reviewing personnel files, running payroll tasks in Kronos, and monitoring timekeeping and absenteeism. Throughout the day, you’ll support cases involving FMLA, short-term disability, and workers’ compensation, all while helping the site deliver safe, compliant, and engaging employee experiences.

Core responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries and employee relations matters; build trusted relationships across the site.
  • Coach and support managers and supervisors on employee relations topics and HR best practices.
  • Lead end-to-end talent acquisition for all open roles (permanent and temporary), from sourcing through offer and onboarding.
  • Maintain accurate and complete employee files, documenting changes to compensation, position, benefits, training, and disciplinary actions.
  • Update and sustain data accuracy in HR SAP and HR Org-Management.
  • Execute core HR operations: hiring/staffing, benefits administration, new hire orientation, absenteeism monitoring, and timekeeping oversight.
  • Provide case management support for FMLA, short-term disability, and workers’ compensation.
  • Manage HR initiatives and projects, tracking milestones and outcomes.
  • Coordinate and deliver site employee activities and engagement events.
  • Recommend policy/procedure improvements and ensure adherence to applicable US and PA labor laws and employment regulations.
  • Own payroll-related tasks and workflows in Kronos.
  • Support safety/EHS directives, maintain a clean and safe workspace, and follow cGMP standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What you bring

  • BA/BS in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field (required).
  • 5+ years of hands-on HR experience, preferably supporting an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Working knowledge of US and PA labor laws and their practical application.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SAP, and KRONOS.
  • Familiarity with cGMP and ISO standards (preferred).
  • Detail orientation and a strong service mindset.
  • Robust written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to read and speak English.
  • Comfort operating in a fast-paced, matrixed organization.
