Charlotte County is seeking a collaborative, innovative, and service-oriented People Operations Manager with a focus on Talent Acquisition to lead the Countys strategic recruitment and hiring initiatives. This position is responsible for developing and executing talent acquisition strategies that attract, engage, and retain a highly qualified workforce dedicated to public service.
The People Operations Manager oversees the Talent Acquisition function while partnering with County leadership to anticipate workforce needs, strengthen the employer brand, improve the candidate experience, and ensure recruitment practices are efficient, equitable, and compliant with applicable laws and regulations.
As a member of the People Operations leadership team, this position helps advance a culture focused on exceptional customer service, operational excellence, employee engagement, and continuous improvement.

Bachelor's Degree

Human Resources
Business Administration
Eight (8) years of progressively responsible experience in people operations; recruitment/staffing & onboarding, compensation / pay plan maintenance / total rewards management, training & development programs, employee relations, labor relations, FMLA, retirement plan management, benefits, wellness, safety and People Operations Information Systems to include lead or supervisory experience.
Preferred:
PHR: Professional in Human Resources / SPHR: Senior Professional in Human Resources
SHRM-CP: SHRM Certified Professional / SHRM-SCP - SHRM Senior Certified Professional
Certified Compensation Professional (CCP)
CWC: Certified in Workers' Compensation
WCCA: Workers' Compensation Claims Administration
