People Operations & Talent Acquisition Specialist
Salary Range: $90,000

The  People Operations & Talent Acquisition Specialist This position is responsible for leading the Company's full-cycle recruiting and talent acquisition efforts and for designing, coordinating, and delivering employee training and development programs, in support of both the US and overseas branch offices. This role partners closely with hiring managers and department leaders to attract, hire, onboard, develop, and offboard talent throughout the employee lifecycle in support of the Company's growth and strategic goals.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
 
  • May oversee the scheduling, assignments, and daily workflow of subordinate HR staff.
  • May assist with and conduct constructive, timely performance evaluations.

Recruiting & Talent Acquisition
  • Manages the full-cycle recruitment process, including job posting, sourcing, screening resumes, coordinating and conducting interviews, and extending offers.
  • Partners with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, develop accurate job descriptions, and define candidate requirements.
  • Builds and maintains a strong pipeline of qualified candidates through staffing agencies and employee referrals.
  • Develops and promotes the Company's employer brand to attract a diverse, qualified candidate pool.
  • Coordinates and conducts background checks, drug tests, and other pre-employment screenings.
  • Manages the applicant tracking and maintains accurate, compliant recruiting records in accordance with EEO/OFCCP requirements.
  • Tracks and reports on recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and source effectiveness, and recommends improvements to hiring strategy.
  • Coordinates new hire onboarding, including offer paperwork, orientation scheduling, and first-day logistics.

Training & Development
  • Designs, coordinates, and delivers new-employee orientation and onboarding programs.
  • Partners with department managers to assess training needs and develop an annual training and development plan.
  • Coordinates and/or delivers training on Company policies, required compliance topics (e.g., harassment prevention, workplace safety), and professional development.
  • Coordinates on training and certification programs for Field Service Engineers, including requirements for customer site access and ID badging.
  • Maintains accurate training records and tracks completion of required and compliance-related training.
  • Evaluates the effectiveness of training programs and recommends improvements based on feedback and outcomes.
