A hospital in Elko, NV is seeking a senior-level People Services Director to lead its human resources function on-site. This is a leadership role responsible for overseeing the full spectrum of HR operations at a healthcare facility in a rural Nevada community. Partial relocation assistance is available; visa sponsorship is not supported.

The role. The People Services Director will provide strategic and operational HR leadership across multiple disciplines, including employee relations, labor relations, recruitment, compliance, and performance management. This individual will supervise HR staff and serve as the senior HR authority for the organization, ensuring alignment between people practices and broader organizational goals.

What we're looking for.
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in HR, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Organizational Leadership, or a related field
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive HR leadership experience
  • Experience leading HR functions across multiple disciplines including employee relations, labor relations, recruitment, compliance, and performance management
  • Experience supervising HR staff
  • Preferred: Healthcare experience, with acute care hospital background strongly preferred
  • Preferred: Labor relations experience, including administering collective bargaining agreements, handling grievances, and arbitration preparation
  • Preferred: HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR)
  • Preferred: Rural healthcare experience
  • Preferred: Multi-union environment experience

Compensation. $101, 177 - $136, 588 per year
