Penn Medicine Chester County Hospital (CCH) is seeking a Per Diem Advanced Practitioner (CRNP) for CCH’s Psychiatric Consult liaison Service. This team completes psychiatric assessments and recommendations for patients in the Emergency Department and hospitalized patients. This Nurse practitioner will work on a team with two full-time psychiatric nurse practitioners and will collaborate with our Behavioral Health Department including the Social Work team. The psychiatric nurse practitioner will also work closely with providers in the ED and inpatient medical units throughout the hospital. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with autonomy to manage the daily work and to engage with care team members. The ability to work and communicate effectively in a team environment is essential.
The ideal candidate will be available to work 1 weekend per month and 1 holiday per year. Additionally, there will also be opportunities to pick up weekday shifts based on operational needs. Standard shifts are 12 hours.
