DESC is looking for a per-diem anesthesiologist to provide coverage at our outpatient surgery center. - Must be a licensed physician holding a current and valid license to practice medicine as an anesthesiologist in the State of Maine.
- Board Certification or eligibility is required.
- The anesthesia provider will be responsible for staffing one operating room in compliance with applicable statutes, rules, and regulations in conformance with the professional standards of ASA.
- Heavy focus on peripheral nerve blocks and spinals
- Case mix: ~90% orthopedics, ~10% plastics
- Schedule: Monday-Friday
- Competitive hourly rate with additional pay after 4:30 PM
- Choice of W2 or 1099 reimbursement
- No call responsibilities
