Major Responsibilities

The incumbent exercises powers as granted to Peace Officers by the laws of the State of New York and such supplementary powers as may be conferred by the SUNY Adirondack Board of Trustees that are consistent with law. The CSA is required to report all available information, such as the crimes date and location, even if the victim is unknown or doesnt want to file a criminal charge. A CSA should report the matter regardless of whether the CSA is sure the incident qualifies as a Clery crime.
