Per Diem Direct Support Professionals

Benhaven Residential is seeking Per Diem Direct Support Professionals. The Per Diem Direct Support Professional will provide care and support to individuals with disabilities in a residential setting. This position is on an as-needed basis, serving as a substitute for regular staff members when they are unavailable.

Responsibilities:

• Assist individuals with daily activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, and medication management
• Support individuals in participating in recreational and social activities
• Provide transportation to appointments and outings as needed
• Maintain a safe and clean living environment for individuals
• Document observations and incidents in daily logs
• Communicate effectively with individuals, their families, and other team members
• Attend training sessions to improve skills and knowledge in the field

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred
• Ability to pass a background check
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
•  Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility in scheduling and availability to work on short notice
