Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Integrative Yoga Practitioner (FGP) - Manhattan, Center for Women's Health.
In this role, the successful candidate provides individualized and group-based mind-body services within the Griffin Healthspan & Vitality Center at NYU Langone Health. This position delivers yoga, meditation, breathwork, and Reiki (or other approved energy-based modalities) to support stress reduction, symptom management, and overall well-being for women across the lifespan.
Aligned with integrative programs at leading academic centers, the Practitioner works as part of a multidisciplinary team that includes physicians, NPs/APPs, acupuncturists, massage therapists, mental health professionals, and health coaches. Mind-body and energy-based therapies are offered as adjunctive, evidence-informed services and are not a substitute for medical diagnosis or treatment. The Practitioner also contributes to education, community outreach, and, where appropriate, research and quality initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications:
200-hour Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) certification from a Yoga Alliance recognized or equivalent accredited program, required.
Certification as a yoga therapist (e.g., C-IAYT) or equivalent, required.
Certification and documented training in Reiki (Level II or higher) or another recognized energy-based modality, required.
Experience in hospital, academic medical center, or integrative medicine settings.
Strong understanding of contraindications and modifications related to womens health, oncology, cardiometabolic conditions, and musculoskeletal issues.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to develop and maintain effective relationships across disciplines and with patients and families.
Preferred Qualifications:
500-hour YTT or certification as a yoga therapist or equivalent.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical yoga or integrative therapy capacity; experience with medically complex patients strongly preferred.
Additional licensure/certification in a related modality (e.g., massage therapy, mindfulness-based stress reduction, trauma-informed yoga).
Experience participating in clinical research or quality improvement projects.
Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $29.28 - $50.51 Hourly. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need.
