    Job Description:

    Tasks and responsibilities include:

    • Rooming patients timely and efficiently, taking vitals, reviewing medical and prescription drug history and accurately recording information into the EMR
    • Drawing patients blood in accordance to practice procedure and delivering to the in house lab
    • Facilitates the authorization of drug refills and provides prescription information to pharmacies.
    • Assists with scheduling patients for future appointments.
    • Assist and care for patients in alignment with practice values and mission, practicing empathy and compassion at all times
    • Performs regular administrative responsibilities such as scanning and medical record updating
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Ideal candidates have:

    • At least two years as a Medical Assistant with phlebotomy experience
    • Oncology experience preferred
    • A warm and empathetic personality that is focused on exceptional patient care
    • Ability to move quickly throughout shift and stand for long periods of time
