Compensation: $21.95-$23.75 per hour (based on experience)
Key Responsibilities:
- Transport individuals to medical, psychiatric and dental appointments.
- Complete all pre and post appointment paperwork.
- Coordinate appointment transport and follow-up with Adult Services nursing staff, residential supervisors and community medical professionals.
- Document data and pertinent information from appointments into Therap.
- Transport and/or administer medications in accordance to MAP’s regulations as needed.
- Attend Adult Services nursing team meetings.
- Meet on a regular basis with the Adult Services Nursing Manager.
Qualifications: - Computer literacy
- Prior experience in a medical office and/or familiarity with medical terms preferred but not required.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Driver's license in good standing required.
- Ability to safely handle children in crisis situations with compassion.
- Willing to intervene in instances of extreme behavior.
