Description

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 0

  • Coordinates and provides care for a group of patients spanning all age groups and cultures for a designated time frame using therapeutic means, the laboratory process, the environment/instrumentation and other health care team members while assuming responsibility and accountability for these patients; responsibilities are to provide patient care in an ambulatory care setting under the clinical supervision of a physician or MD within the guidelines of nursing process and nurse practitioner protocols as outlined in Patient Care Guidelines for Nurse Practitioners.

Report to: Medical Director and Practice Manager (Administratively)

Manages: N/A

Coordinates Assignments, Workflow, and Activities/Provides for Guidance: Medical Assistant

Required Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience:

  • Graduate of an accredited school, master prepared with a degree as a Nurse Practitioner Massachusetts licensure.
  • Departmental specialized training to provide care to patients within role and successful completion of SMH orientation program

Preferred Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience:

  • Command of verbal and written English
  • Operation of clinical equipment demonstrates clinical competence,
  • Positive interpersonal communication skills and good organizational skills
  • Three to five years medical office experience

Educational Requirements: Master in Science in Nursing/Nurse Practitioner

License/Certification: CPR certification. MA NP license, DEA & Mass Controlled Substance Registration

The pay range displayed on each job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires. A successful candidate's actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate's work history, experience, skill set, and education. This is not inclusive of the value Sturdy Health's benefits package (if applicable), which includes among other benefits, healthcare/dental/vision and retirement. For annual salaries this is based on full-time employment.
