An immediate per diem opportunity is available for an experienced Staff Pharmacist to support a busy pharmacy team in Cicero, IL. The role requires a candidate who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and is ready to provide expert pharmacy services on select days in March.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage prescription intake, processing, dispensing, and verification with accuracy
- Maintain inventory and address patient inquiries professionally
- Adapt to changing workflows while collaborating seamlessly with pharmacy technicians
- Utilize Pioneer Rx software efficiently during daily tasks
Schedule:- Friday, 3/20, 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM
- Tuesday, 3/24, 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM
- Friday, 3/27, 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM
- Tuesday, 3/31, 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM
Desired Qualifications:- Minimum of 2 years recent experience in a high-volume pharmacy setting
- Proven ability to work productively in a team environment with strong communication skills
- Technical proficiency and comfort with pharmacy software systems, including automation and dispensing robots
- Pharmacy intuition and flexibility to handle workflow adjustments confidently
- Commitment to quality and accuracy in all pharmacy operations
