<\/span><\/div>- Responsible for helping residents and patients with activities of daily living (ADL’s), including bathing, feeding, dressing, skin care, positioning, ambulation, toileting, and range of motion activities.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li> - Works under the<\/span><\/span> direct supervision of a Registered Nurse/LPN.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li> - Maintains patient stability by checking vital signs and weight, testing urine and recording intake and output information.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li> - Provides patient comfort by utilizing resources and materials, transporting patients, answering the patient call lights and requests, and reporting observations of the patient condition to the licensed Nurse/LPN or appropriate personnel.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li> - Demonstrates appropriate knowledge for safe use of medical equipment such as cane, crutches, walkers, lift, side rails, brace, splints, and oxygen.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/li> - Documents actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/li> - Knowledge of aseptic techniques, basic wound care, and patient safety.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li> - Always maintain patient confidentiality. <\/span>
<\/li> - Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.<\/span>
<\/li> - Initiates emergency resuscitative measures according to adult resuscitation and advanced life support protocols.<\/span>
<\/li> - Provides care in a non -judgmental, non -discriminatory manner that is sensitive to the patient’s and family’s diversity, preserving their autonomy, dignity, and rights.<\/span>
<\/li> - Serves and protects the facility by adhering to professional standards, policies and procedures; federal, state, and local requirements.<\/span>
<\/li> - Knowledge of various computer systems.<\/span>
<\/li> - Demonstrate proficiency in verbal and written communication skills.<\/span>
