ATC HEALTHCARE IS CURRENTLY HIRING FOR A LICENSED OCCUPATION THERAPIST FOR A PROMINENT HEALTHCARE FACILITY IN YUCCA VALLEY/SOLEDAD, CA

Work Type: Part-time (4hrs a week total)

Pay: $62/hr-$70/hr

Location: Yucca Valley/Soledad, CA

Title: Occupational Therapist Home Health

Certifications: AHA BLS

Start Date: ASAP

Shift: Days.

Shift Schedule: (Part-time) 2 hour shifts at each location

Assignment Length: 8 weeks

Requirements:

• Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active and unrestricted California Occupational Therapist license.
• Experience working with traumatic brain injury (TBI) patients, neurological rehabilitation, or home health preferred.
• Pediatric experience is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work independently and provide compassionate, patient-centered care.

*MUST HAVE HOME HEALTH OT EXPERIENCE AND AN ACTIVE CA LICENSE TO QUALIFY FOR THE POSITION!!

Position Overview
We are seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide home health services to patients recovering from traumatic brain injuries and other neurological conditions. This role focuses on helping patients improve their ability to perform daily activities, enhance cognitive function, increase independence, and improve overall quality of life within their home environment.

Responsibilities
 

• Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide skilled occupational therapy services in the patient’s home.
• Address activities of daily living (ADLs), cognitive rehabilitation, motor skills, and adaptive strategies.
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques, safety strategies, and home programs.
• Collaborate with caregivers and other healthcare professionals involved in the patient’s care.
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation.
