Join a leading outpatient cardiovascular team as an Interventional Radiology Technologist (IR Tech) supporting specialized vascular and interventional procedures. This per diem opportunity is ideal for experienced technologists who thrive in a fast-paced procedural environment and are looking for flexible, ongoing PRN work.
Responsibilities
Assist physicians during interventional radiology and cardiovascular procedures.
Prepare procedure rooms, equipment, and imaging systems for patient care.
Operate fluoroscopy and mobile CR equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
Monitor patients during procedures and assist with maintaining a safe environment.
Ensure proper radiation safety practices are followed.
Maintain accurate documentation and assist with workflow throughout the procedural process.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and clinical staff to deliver exceptional patient care.
Requirements
Active Radiologic Technologist credentials in good standing.
3-5 years of Interventional Radiology or related imaging experience required.
Cardiovascular experience is required.
Experience operating Mobile CR equipment required.
Strong knowledge of radiation safety practices and imaging protocols.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
