A busy outpatient imaging center is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to join a patient-focused imaging team starting at the end of September. This is a daytime opportunity with no weekends, no holidays, and no on-call requirements, making it an excellent fit for professionals seeking strong work-life balance in a collaborative outpatient setting.
Responsibilities
- Perform MRI examinations according to established protocols and quality standards.
- Prepare and educate patients for imaging procedures while ensuring comfort and safety.
- Administer contrast media when indicated and monitor patients throughout procedures.
- Produce high-quality diagnostic images for radiologist interpretation.
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare staff to provide exceptional patient care.
- Ensure MRI equipment is functioning properly and maintain a clean, safe imaging environment.
- Assist with additional imaging procedures when qualified, including X-ray and CT.
Requirements
- ARRT (R) Certification Required
- MRI Certification Preferred
- Experience performing MRI procedures independently.
- Experience administering contrast injections.
- Strong communication and patient care skills.
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and imaging protocols.
- CT and/or X-ray experience is highly preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in an outpatient imaging environment.
Schedule
- Monday-Friday
- 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM or 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
- No weekends
- No holidays
- No on-call
