Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients on Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and promptly respond to changes in patient condition.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions.

Requirements

• Active California RN License
• Minimum 1 year of recent MS/TELE acute care experience (2+ years preferred)
• Current BLS Certification
• Current ACLS Certification
• Strong telemetry interpretation and patient assessment skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
