Per Diem Registered Nurse Geriatric Psychiatry

REGISTERED NURSE (RN) - GERIATRIC PSYCHIATRY | PER DIEM JOB OVERVIEW

Seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for a per diem opportunity in a Geriatric Psychiatry setting. The RN will provide comprehensive nursing care, assess patient needs, administer treatments and medications, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support positive patient outcomes.

SHIFT DETAILS

• Shift Time: 7:00 AM 7:00 PM
• Meal Break: 30 Minutes
• 12-Hour Day Shift

PAY

• Pay Rate: 46.81-54.61

REQUIREMENTS

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) License
• Current BLS Certification
• Previous Behavioral Health, Psychiatric, Geriatric Psychiatry, or Acute Care experience preferred
• Strong assessment, communication, and critical-thinking skills
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assess, monitor, and evaluate patient conditions
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Develop and implement individualized care plans
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, case managers, and healthcare professionals
• Provide patient and family education
• Support patient safety and therapeutic interventions
• Ensure compliance with nursing standards and facility policies
