Job Requirements.

• EducationRequirements: Nevada Department of Education endorsement as a School Nurse (RN)
• CertificationsRequirements: Active RN license in Nevada
• ExperienceRequirements: Minimum of 1 year experience as a School Nurse, with familiarity in assessments, re-evaluations, and working with children and families
• OtherRequirements: Must enjoy working with kids and families. On-site preferred, but virtual options possible for meetings, waivers, and no-reassessment duties. Must be licensed School Nurse (RN) holding a Nevada endorsement. Physical ability to perform assessment duties. Background checks may be required.

• Provide assessments and evaluations for students in accordance with Nevada Department of Education guidelines.
• Conduct 3-year reevaluations and interpret assessment data accurately.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Facilitate communication with families, teachers, and administrators to ensure student needs are met.
• Maintain thorough documentation and compliance with all relevant policies and regulations.
