Work Schedule :

Per Diem, day shift. Shifts will be available between the hours of 8:00am - 4:30pm. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

We are seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to:

  • Provide consultative and rehabilitative treatment services to complex patients admitted to the acute hospital in the domains of speech, language and cognition.
  • Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to create comprehensive evidence-based treatment plans to maximize functional outcomes and discharge plans.
  • Work within the context of patient- and family- centered care in a primary and specialty care academic medical center.
  • Seek continual learning opportunities to advance one's own practice and educate others.

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communicative Disorders Required

Work Experience

  • Completion of Clinical Speech Language Pathology Fellowship Requirement Preferred
  • Experience in a medical setting as a Speech Language Pathologist Preferred

Licenses & Certifications

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) within 3 months Required
  • Wisconsin state license (or eligible) to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist Preferred
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology (CCC - SLP) Preferred
