Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist for a per diem opportunity in a fast-paced outpatient surgery center. The ideal candidate will support surgical teams by ensuring a sterile environment and assisting during operative procedures.
This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent knowledge of aseptic technique, and the ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure surgical setting.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain sterile operating rooms
Assist surgeons and nurses during surgical procedures
Handle surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment
Maintain strict aseptic and infection control standards
Anticipate needs of the surgical team during procedures
Ensure all surgical equipment is functioning properly
Support turnover and room readiness between cases
Assignment Details
Shift: Day Shift
Shift Time: 06:00 AM 01:00 PM
Schedule: Per diem / as needed coverage
Requirements
Active Surgical Technologist certification (if required by state)
Prior operating room or surgical center experience required
Strong knowledge of sterile and aseptic techniques
Ability to work in a fast-paced surgical environment
